Innovative thinker and prolific blogger Douglas Carswell MP will be the guest speaker at an exclusive event for Judge & Howard’s clients and contacts later this month.

Author of The End of Politics and the Birth of iDemocracy – named by the Huffington Post UK as one of the top books of 2012 – Douglas will explain how social media is radically changing modern life.

Far from being idle chit-chat, he believes social media is part of a digital revolution that is shifting the balance of power away from a small elite towards the collective intelligence of the crowd.

Agency co-founder Libby Howard said: “Social media remains the hot topic for 2013 in marketing terms – yet despite the buzz, many organisations are still unconvinced about its value in a business context.

The invitation-only event will be held at the Great John Street Hotel on Friday 25 January 2013.  It follows a successful event in 2012, when the agency’s guests heard from national journalist and social media guru Guy Clapperton.
